JURY DUTY

If you are scheduled for Jury Duty please call (313) 343-2594 after 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to your scheduled jury date. A recording will advise you if you have to appear.

Harper Woods has a one day or a one trial system. Most cases are completed within one day. Sometimes jurors are summoned for jury service and, upon calling the Juror Information Line, are notified not to appear. This is usually because the case has settled or the defendant has pled guilty.
